All About Us

Welcome to the get to know us section of our Blissful Pups website. Growing up I always had a love of animals and dogs especially. I’d be the girl who had to give every dog a smooth (owner approved) 

My Nans home was filled with rescued Birds Dogs Cats & Fish & I grew up with a gorgeous golden Labrador called Sherry. I loved and cared for them all from a very young age. My love of animals lead me to volunteer my weekends with the horses at The Ridding for the disabled stable near Cribbs causeway. 

I've had the privilege of owning my own pets over the last 40yrs from my first rescue, a blind dwarf bunny, 3 Cats, 4 Dogs and been in the right place at the right time to help rescue local wildlife. 

As soon as I picked up My little girl, Poppy, a Cavalier King Charles cross puppy, she didn’t want to be put down & I knew she had my heart, things haven't changed much over the last 10yrs! Always loving a cuddle and always excited for a walk or run by her Mummys side. She is the light of my life.

We welcomed her little sister Daisy in May 2023 a rescue ex breeder girl from Many Tears in Llanelli. I’d highly recommend checking out their website for Cavaliers needing loving homes 😍

From the early days of her flinching at every touch and being so scared she was unable to eat or drink, to the excitable bouncy happy bundle of joy she is today, rehabilitation is a slow process but she’s well on her way to trusting the world and people again. She adores all her Doggy playmates. Nothing in life brings me more happiness then seeing her transform into a happy healthy Dog.

Cavaliers, Yorkies and Cavapoos are such amazing, funny and loving breeds & While they usually get along with most everyone, larger breeds can often play too roughly for these little guys even if they don’t mean to. I’ve heard way too many stories of them being hurt or attacked in the outside world and I believe they are happiest & safest when surrounded by other similar Toy breeds.

I decided I wanted to start a very special kind of Daycare so that little ones just like my girls could come, be loved, have fun play and stay together. In 2018 I started Blissful Pups with this goal. Today we not only have that environment but an amazing Blissful Pups extended family. I’m proud & grateful to be called Auntie Debs by so many.

On our walks, daycare, boarding or secure field play sessions. We give your pups the best time of their lives! 

Playtime or Snoozing, Cavaliers to Yorkies they all have an extra special place to call their second home & Blissful Pups family.
